I fucking hate running. Is it necessary? Especially long distances. I don't know where people got the idea that running a marathon was the ultimate arbiter of elite fitness. It's not. All those people look like cancer patients to me. None of them look "in shape" or like an athlete. So my question is, what is the point of running if there are other ways to get the same results?
Fear does not exist in this dojo, does it?
Just think of the purpose of running - the desired result - and swap out the exercise for one that doesn't suck so bad. Try cycling, rowing, boxing, hiking. I hate the impact of running. I think it's stupid.
