I do, sometimes. I simply relax and try to free my mind from conscious thoughts. If I see imagery, I let it go by. I only observe. For example, if I see a kangaroo, in my mind I try not to say "that's a kangaroo." Instead I simply observe it. I also like to be present and mindful of everything, how my feet feel on the floor, where my tension is, etc. Sometimes I imagine energy flowing through my fingertips and such. I don't think meditation needs to be any one way.
