Resolve is one of the 12 Virtues that form the core of Ingenium. It is one of the virtues that belongs to the Will Quadrant. It is taught because much of Ingenium entails achieving self-mastery or some semblance of one’s ideal life goals, and in order to achieve success in life one must have the ability to persevere until success is achieved. It is also about being able to endure hardships. It is defined as “the quality of perseverance, being able to finish what one starts and endure hardships.”

The Key to Resolve is called “Quitting is the Only Failure”, which is about changing one’s mindset about what failure is.

Litany #

The Litany affirmation for Resolve is:

I know that as long as I persevere I have not failed. What others call failure is an opportunity to learn and improve. I constantly strive to move closer to my goals, and I know that doing so is the process toward achieving them. I follow through to completion unless it no longer serves me to continue that path. I know that I can endure any hardship. Just as I have overcome every hardship of the past, I have what it takes to do so again.

The abbreviated Litany is “I know that as long as I persevere, I will achieve the life I desire.”
