Improving Vitality #
While this subject is vast in scope, Loricism simplifies it by focusing on two important aspects:
- What are you feeding it?
- How are you using it?
What you nourish your mind, body, and spirit with are important. Is it healthy? The body takes nutrition, the mind takes in information, and the spirit takes in things that lift it. Does the input help or hinder?
Second, how are you using your mind, body, and spirit? How do you exercise your body? Physical activity is important. But also consider how you use the mind. If you don’t use these things, they atrophy. Use your brain. Think with it. Exercise it. How do you use your spirit? Are you doing things that you find fulfilling?
The Litany affirmation for Vitality:
I am important and in charge of something important – my life. I do things that are beneficial to the wellness of my body, my mind, and my spirit. I take care of myself, and it invigorates me. Improving my body, my mind, and spirit also improves other areas of my life. I desire to function at my highest capacity.
The abbreviated Litany is “As the Master of my life and my destiny, I take care of myself physically, mentally, and spiritually.”
